Enrollment Information

Priority Enrollment for Summer 2026

Camper applications will be accepted on the following basis:

  • October 19, 2025 @ 5pm: Returning Camper Families
  • October 26, 2025 @ 5pm: New Families from URJ Congregations
  • November 2, 2025 @ 5pm: General Registration for Everyone

Applications will be processed in the order they are received on a space-availability basis.

Deposit: A non-refundable administrative deposit of $300 per camper/per session will be required at time of registration via electronic payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, or E-Check).

Payment Schedule: After your application is accepted and deposit paid, 25% of tuition is due by January 23rd, 2025. By March 23rd, an additional 50% of tuition is due (75% of tuition paid). Final payment is due by April 23rd. You are welcome to pay all or part of your camp fees prior to that date. Payment deadlines are flexible for those seeking scholarship assistance. Please visit our website here for scholarship application instructions. Please contact campkalsman@urj.org to make special payment arrangements. Several payment plans are available. Camp tuition fees include all camp activities, camp t-shirt, and canteen.

Payment Options: Payments may be made by E-check, Paper Check, Debit Card (all without surcharge) and Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard and Discover). Families that choose to pay by Credit Card will incur a non-refundable 2.75% credit card processing fee. To avoid this surcharge, you are encouraged to pay by E-check or Debit Card. See our credit card policy for more details.

Cancellation: If you cancel before March 23, 2025 you will receive a full refund minus the $300 administrative deposit. Cancellation between March 24 and May 9 will receive 75% refund. Cancellation after May 11th will forfeit all fees, with some exceptions. Camp reserves the right to make any eligible refund in multiple installments as determined by Camp.

Travel Insurance:  See our Program Protector insurance.  You have 20 days from the time of your first payment (typically your deposit paid during registration) to purchase a Program Protector plan enhanced plan. The option to purchase a policy is built into the registration system and is not administered by Camp Kalsman or the URJ in any way. Any questions must be directed to the Program Protector Team.

Forms  Required Camper Health & Information forms will be available to complete on-line via your CampInTouch account in early 2025. These forms must be completed no later than May 1st, 2025. For the Medical Examination Form, a physical exam is required within twelve months of the camper’s arrival at Camp. Families who have not completed all of their forms by June 1st, 2025 will incur a fee of $50 per camper unless an explicit exception has been made by the Camp in writing.

Vaccination Policy The URJ Camping system considers camp safety and public health as matters of utmost importance. The vaccination of all members of the camp community ranks as a key component in maintaining a safe environment and in decreasing the risk of transmission of contagious illness. Accordingly, the URJ Camping system requires that any member of the camp community in residence receive up-to-date, age-appropriate immunizations. The complete list of required immunizations Summer 2025 can be found here.

Complete Terms & Conditions: As one of the steps in the online registration process, you will be asked to indicate your agreement with our Terms & Conditions. Please click here to review them before you begin the online registration process. They will be visible and available for your review when you apply online, but we recommend you review them here before you begin.
